A Line Through the Center of Space (2009)

A Line Through the Center of Space (2008 - 9) is a contemplative experience that seeks to address how the viewer's mind and body can contribute to the compositional function of an open-ended artwork. The installation works to invoke a hypothetical space into one of ritualistic encounter, thus delving into psychophysiological space. Through scale there is further amplification of dissolved space, so the work evokes the body and artwork as formalistic vessels of time. Over this drawn out time, the seductive nature of repetitious forms invites the audience into a meditative composition of which they are part author.
