BLIND DATE (NET ART) TELESHARING ACTION. COLLABORATIVE ARTWORK BY WEBCAM IN REAL TIME

"Blind date" is a telesharing action that forms part of the INTACT project, proposed and directed by Sara Malinarich.
This artwork is a collaborative work of the artists Sara Malinarich and Aida Mañez. This narrative was done from faraway places connecting them by Internet and in real time. This action is a talk manner between two artists who know to each other for the first time. A type of relationship and it began with an artwork together. Naked in the bath of her house, in Cuenca (Spain), Sara Malinarich reveals her body through the painting while, from Valencia (Spain), Aida Mañez visit her, watch her and wants to touch her.
“Blind date” incorporates, in telesharing action, the body of the artist as backup for the other artist who, since the distance, is not only context but part of her real-time speaker.
Head and body, two artists being fragmented and travelling by the network to build one body, to be completed mutually, to communicate and for create meetings in the space, the distance and at the same time.
