Soon after that I found myself consumed by the desire to find more of these curious sidewalk appearances. I do not use Photoshop and artificial lighting. I photograph unique details found in the urban landscape of Los Angeles. The images I discover are found on the sidewalks that we walk on daily and that otherwise go unnoticed. I photograph unique details found in the urban landscape of Los Angeles. The images I discover are found on the sidewalks that we walk on daily and that otherwise go unnoticed. My images are abstract interpretations of the micro-reality that surrounds us all. In November 2003 when I walked on a sidewalk in Hollywood and took my first picture of a curb detail.
