D-i-a-logz (2008)

D-i-a-logz is a public artwork that introduces recently arrived international teenagers to the Twin Cities community. A partnership between FORECAST Public Artworks, Wellstone International High School and Minneapolis media artist Barbra Nei, this project will utilize the internet and electonic kiosks at transit stops as its platforms to educate viewers about the students’ immigration and assimilation experiences. In addition to our goal of promoting understanding between cultures and acceptance of these newest members of our community, the project will contribute to the ongoing story of immigration in Minnesota.
