Part of the first edition of Shanghai eArts Festival (“Wisdom of Crowds”), “Rock the Earth” is an interactive installation using three giant LED billboards of Xujiahui Commercial Circle. On display, the 20th and 21st of October 2007, any user was able to interact with the screens by sending SMS via their mobile phone. The installation was created by Zou Susu, Zane Mellupe & Thomas Charvériat and was organized by the Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation.
