When REALITY jumps in and fear get in our way, we look to all sides but can’t stop looking at the depicted scene. It’s like we look at the MIRROR OUR OWN DESIRES or maybe at a past reality searching for a clue that redefine our existence. It only takes a symbol, a message or a content that resemble in some way the absurdity of our social structure, our idea of perfect life to see in our expectations our own image ENCLOSED IN the material.

Addiction is our never-ending standing, the reason why we are practical and functional. It’s like we are transferring our fears, our incapacity’s and guilt’s into objects of desire, objects that relieves us of the feeling of emptiness associated with living in a society more preoccupied WITH images. As CULTURE becomes more fragile and transparent the real evidence of its demise often turn into mere fake representations of greatness and power. And it’s power that trigger the real sense of joy, an illusional happiness that we always confuse with perfection and harmony. BUT THE TRUTH is that we are so tragic at the time of exaggerating the evidence that we resorted to violence hoping to resolve the issues that ironically are re-defining our lives.

My work IS ABOUT the value-demand of living in this mediocratic society. Its about paranoia, fashion, advertising, art history, television design and all the mediatic and banal-INTERPRETATIONS OF my environment, all melted in a re-mediatic proposal that often took elements from many disciplines, art history masterpieces or discourses to achieve what i want to communicate.
