Pourquoi pas toi? (2009)

Our recent exhibition in the Pompidou Centre, Pourquoi pas Toi?, testifies to the value of an art that engages a heterogeneous public. This exhibition, visited by over 40 000 people over three months, used a series of interactive video installations to invite each individual to become the motor of his or her own creation. These highly aesthetic works, transformed by the gestures and movements of the public into an ever changing series of images and reflections, were conceived as graphic invitations to every man to become an artist. The exhibition communicates on many levels, and inspired improvised creative responses from people of all ages and from all walks of life, setting up the conditions for a true reconciliation between technology, art and human beings.
