Semiotics of the Internet (2009)

by Gus23

This video is titled 'Semiotics of the Internet' and it is directly inspired by Martha Rosler’s 1975 video titled 'Semiotics of the Kitchen'. In six minutes, I take the viewer on a journey through familiar landmarks of an Internet experience while using the alphabet as my guide. While mimicking a common computer program instructional video or Web application demo, I attempt to reflect the aggressive honesty of a homophobic Internet user.
