Comparative Studies in Cinema: The Time Tunnel (2008)

The Time Tunnel is a taxonometric 'tapestry', a comparative visual database of every form of 'time-travel-wormhole' motif found in science fiction films. I'm interested in how the language of cinema and visual F/X creates certain perceptual frameworks that are reiterated in our cultural vocabulary; in this case, the visual representation of hyper-accelerated time/space travel. Please submit any films I might have missed and I'll continue to add them to the piece! A special prize to anyone who can name ALL the films & TV shows used in the video! A higher quality version is here: http://www.thesupernature.com/specialprojects/timetunnel_movie.html
