I created a body of work using the Facebook Tag as a unit of construction. Within the social networking website Facebook, users are capable of identifying individuals in online photographs. As a user's mouse hovers over an individual's label, a square frame appears in the photograph to target that individual. I took the square frame offline and recreated it with paper.
Tagged 4.0 is the fourth evolution of work I've made with the tags. It is an organized chaos that mimics my personal feelings towards the Internet. I see the work as a beautiful object that originates from a confined, two-dimensional space.

I created a body of work using the Facebook Tag as a unit of construction. Within the social networking website Facebook, users are capable of identifying individuals in online photographs.
