Proud to be an earth citizen! (2008)

What seems to be impossible in “reality”, to come across the different itself overlaying levels in the psycho-spiritual and too the physical spaces, to see it as unit and lead into a new, more free interpretation, realizes Can Henne with his digital paintings. In these compositions feelings, atmospherical conditions and effects of differently places and situations become visible and lead into an not-everyday mood. Therefore an abstract picture of this different reality arises which try to build a bridge to the non-material world of the viewer. Like pictures of everyday motives, they are painted, together-cutted snapshots of another perception, a short cutout of a process which is more comprehensive in truth. The propulsion that pushes the work to these paintings emerges from the compromiseless will in composition and an infernal colouration, that must express itself in an modern digital painting.
