Full Description
Music video for "2 Clicks Communicator" by Pink&Brown. This piece was commissioned for a never-produced noise music compilation dvd by a guy named Mogel from rotten.com. Mogel collected pieces from a number of interesting noise bands, and then assigned the tracks to various video artists - had this project actually been completed, it would have been my first significant internet-enabled group art project.

Artist Statement
I designed, directed and animated the piece. The plushie costumes were designed by Lai Chung Poon. At the time I was creating this, I did not know anything about Pink&Brown, and was not aware that they used plushie outfits in their own performances (apparently as a parody of Forcefield). I stumbled onto the theme thinking about how abrasive music only becomes pleasurable when you submit to it physically, when you empathize with the sensual experience of the musician creating the noise. The video aims to provoke that visceral response by conflating escapism and sexual fantasy with aggressive invasions to the interior of the body - sort of a sexy Itchy & Scratchy cartoon.
