Loading my digital paintbrush and palette with all media, this new form of portraiture I've created called a DIMONscape® seeks to "touch" in the McLuhan sense of the word, as in, beyond the senses. It compresses time into a moment through a process of layering and narrative storytelling which is only made possible using the digital tools of today. The portrait exists simultaneously on both the wall as a 24"x48" chrome print and on the web as an interactive experience. A new dimension in space is created as ones sees a lifetime compressed into a still moment on the wall, and deconstructed on the web into its individual elements.
