TheCorpser.com is an online version of a popular game, "The Exquisite Corpse," invented by surrealists in 1925. The game is designed to tap into the collective unconscious of the players to create a "corpse," or spontaneous collection of body parts imagined by the participants. Traditionally, the game is played on a single piece of paper folded into thirds, one third for the head, one for the torso, and one for the legs. While the game has been extrapolated and adapted to many other media, theCORPSER.com is based off of the orginal version.
Using the internet, theCORPSER.com is uniting people across the globe for one of the largest pieces of collaborative art in history. Anyone and everyone is allowed and encouraged to participate.
