This project reflects on unconventional uses of consumer technologies and stretches the limits of integrated experience, namely how both performers and audiences normally experience the music and video.

The concept of Zero Cluster is based on the recent album by the Toronto-based band LAL titled Deportation. This album draws upon LAL’s own activist work and life experiences as well as the global effects of 9/11 and its aftermath.

Zero Cluster focuses on the cross-section of information, media exploitation and surveillance. The project takes the audience through streams of audio/visual presentations, and provides them opportunities to explore and find ways to connect with space, visual imagery and sound.
