In_Situ (2006)

A magic window that allows the viewer to peer into the future and see unbuilt buildings in the here and now. Gazing through the portal of the in_situ, the viewer is presented with graphic 3D representations of future or past realities overlaying the current reality of video images of the surrounding streetscape. When placed on the corner of Bloor and Avenue Road in Toronto, viewers will be able to experience the future transformation of the Royal Ontario Museum as visualized by architect Daniel Libeskind.
