If everything in the world is made up of tiny building blocks, what then, are the tiny building blocks themselves made of? In My Own Image is an interactive video installation that seeks to answer this question. Through a combination of video and computer based technologies, In My Own Image captures, processes and displays the user's real time video generated likeness as a fractal - an image that is fragmented and divided into parts that are each small scale copies of the original larger whole. In My Own Image puts the user in the middleof a visual feedback loop, where they can explore and experience the infinite, even as they search for own place along the microcosmic-macrocosmic continuum.
