perpetual canvas blog (2004)

The perpetual canvas blog represents my attempt to shift the focus of viewing art on the process as opposed to the product. It is updated regularly with a new digital collage / photomontage. The unique thing about this process is that every day the previous entry is used as a starting point. Put another way, it's the same image worked on, added to, changed a little bit more each time, and archived along the way.

Some say the hardest part about making art is knowing when to stop, but with digital media and blogging on our side, why should we have to?
