"History of a representation," lauched on March 4th, 2002, poses the question of how to represent and archive a creative process. A distribution service, the Transfer Center, has begun to digitize and upload the artist's handwritten notes, drawings and photographs (dating back to 1993) onto various web-hosting sites. Olivier Oswald, a flesh and blood programmer working in close collaboration with the artist, makes regular visits to the Transfer Center, and, posing as a 3D rendering, reads the material before it is sent off.
