The first in an series of pieces that attempt to strip down and re-represent the world around us. Madonna was in retrospect a somewhat easy target, the piece demonstrating more perhaps the process than the original concept. Madonna is (like it or not) quite an iconic figure, and this is perhaps the modern equivalent of Andy Warhol of Marilyn Monroe aggressions.
