=======1: we are attempting to find viewers for the projects arcade. With the projects arcade, we, the projects arcade artists, attempt to make our work presentable. in the structure of the projects arcade web space itself, we attempt, for only a moment, to organize our work. to exhibit our work in an organized and manageable way and to present, again only momentarily, a front of singly logical unicity and organization in the form of the discrete projects accessible from the main page. to return to the main page from any project press the down arrow key. however, the site's usability and unitary organization into discrete parts is only to for this purpose: to disperse and disseminate by way of the varied qualities of the collection of works available there. with the works themselves, logically-interlaced, yet dispersed, we attempt to manipulate false unities to sponsor the multiplication of an already-multiplying representational chimera, to create and to allow the projects arcade space, its address, to be created and emptied and spread out as an infinite surface for interpretation.

=========2: projects arcade consists of new interrogations and demonstrations of: sound, text, image, diagrams, writing, video, distraction, hieroglyphs, music, movement, outside, lexicography, time, inside, art, objects, media, grids, colors, television, hysteria, texture, anagrams.

===========3: with the projects and movies on projects arcade, we attempt the impossible: to make visible the invisible. to respond adequately to the (always) developing structure of writing and text(ure). to labor towards leaving a trace, of making a trace, of making our way to the trace, allowing the trace to get on the make, that is, to labor towards responding adequately to machines of effacement and fragmentation and to corresponding regimes of totalitarian power and its unstable blocks of information and its subregimes of signs and cooptation of signs by answering these machines and subregimes with an similarly unstable array of responsive blockages. by infiltrating and transforming developing means of distribution, siezing and innovating new media(s) of production manipulating the fringes of new media into useless but dynamic, useless and, therefore, resistant knots, and answering blockages, blockages that answer, we attempt to labor towards the discovery of other pathways in new text and texture, other imagic and textural avenues that will bring the effacing machine, back -in flashes of recognition- to the image(s) of itself.

=========4: we attempt to illuminate the always-being-effaced plane of the merger of-and to illuminate placentas, traffic, between and amidst-text and sense, text and image. we attempt to illuminate ruptures of each within the other. we attempt to labor towards working with the space and void of the trace and its effacement of traversing the space and void of the trace.

===========5: we attempt to discover the possibility, dispersed and invisible, of discovering and articulating the element(s) of the trace in text and image by discovering the obverse of the element(s) of the trace, elements and articulations of new conditions, equally chimeric, being imposed and then re-imposed, superimposed on the possibility-and perhaps these new conditions mean impossibility-itself for this possibility ?the possibility of speaking intelligibly and writing legibly, conditions of possibility and impossibility for the making of meaning and for meaningful production.
