Wish is a part of a project of email based art called, "Email Series" from 2002-2003(http://www.runwhiletrue.com/run/emails.html).
These were sent to a list of over a few hundred email addresses with the request to forward them in the message to the recipient. All are simple instructional pieces sent via email. Produced in Flash, HTML, Javascript and PHP.
Wish takes wishes anonymously and gives a receipt: ticket number which is saved with the wish. This can be seen only through an administration section and is hidden to the viewer. The viewer can print a wish ticket with their confirmation number to retain proof of their participation and to collect a part of the art work.
This piece is still in progress. The wishes will eventually be displayed with ticket numbers in some analog format, to be determined in approximately Summer 2003.
