Seriously, first of all totally "predictable" I mean, how many times are we going to see these solo drummers with their minimalist set-ups running through a series of triggers/contact mics connected to synthesizers and other devices, I mean I can just list them out... wait I'm blanking, could you list them for me?
And yea "weak and boring" is right... I mean I almost fell asleep watching this video (I'm surprised the live audience didn't) what's with this desire to revisit retro NES pop aesthetics, exploring its unique textures, structures, and it's relationship and influence to a particular generation of artists and then recontextualizing them in this beautifully (and brutally) ephemeral fashion. I mean when will the children of the 80's grow up already?
... wait I'm confused, what qualifies as content for rhizome again?
