I mean I almost fell asleep watching this video (I'm surprised the live audience didn't) what's with this desire to revisit retro NES pop aesthetics, exploring its unique textures, structures, and it's relationship and influence to a particular generation of artists and then recontextualizing them in this beautifully (and brutally) ephemeral fashion. I mean when will the children of the 80's grow up already?
