AIR, a new project from Preemptive Media and recipient of the 2005 Social Sculpture Commission from Eyebeam and the LMCC, launches next week. AIR is a public, social experiment in which people are invited to use a portable air monitoring devices to explore their neighborhoods and urban environments for pollution and fossil fuel burning hotspots.
