Segue into hypermodernism and Brad Brace's 12hr ISBN JPEG Project. Launched in 1994 as an extension of his print-based ISBN book series, Brace's sequenced greyscale photographic images signal a return to the chaotic, the de-centered, the dystopic, only this time in a net-specific, cyber-realized format. The concept is relatively straightforward: Every 12 hours a new greyscale image is posted to an FTP site. Viewers can either log onto the site manually or sign up for automated delivery of each image as it appears. It's a little hard to figure out at first
