Tonight: a freebie event and a rare stateside opportunity to see New Zealand new media artist Helen Varley Jamieson present her work in person, which brings together the Web and theater. Beginning at 7:00 pm, Jamieson will stage a"Cyberformance," part show and part technical demonstration. She'll walk us through the timeline from MOOs & MUDs and engage in a networked dialogue with performers around the globe. The event takes place at Arts International at 251 Park Avenue South, 5th Floor (between 20th & 21st Streets) in New York City. The evening is co-sponsored by Rhizome.
