The Upgrade w/Miltos Manetas and Netomat: Call for interaction!!

Dear all,

We're gathering again next week Thursday, May 29 at Eyebeam for a full
evening that
will be shared by Miltos Manetas and netomat (Tamas Banovich & Maciej
Wisniewski).

1. Miltos will talk about the websites as today's most radical and
important art objects
[http://www.manetas.com/txt/websitesare.htm] and also about Neen, the
FourFortyFour
Theory and the Eminem Theory.

2. Tamas & Maciej will demonstrate netomat, the new communication tool
soon to
be released by…netomat.

In the summer of 1999 Maciej Wisniewski launched 'netomat' the
'metabrowser' with
Postmasters, soon after the idea of netomat the company was born, to
fully realize the
project envisioned by Maciej. The goal was no less than to create a new
mode of
communication over the internet.

We invite you to download it, use it, start a dialog with your friends,
or with us:
Tamas: [email protected], Yael: [email protected], Maciej:
[email protected],

When we get together on Thursday we can look at what came out of it.

Download this non public beta, which is a work in progress. It does not
have the
final interface yet. It is still somewhat buggy and sometimes slow but
in many
ways the ideas are already there. Here is a summary of these
ideas/thoughts
(feel free to add comments right into the page):

Maciej Wisniewski and Tamas Banovich will be there to answer all your
questions.
