This summer there will be a 2 week intensive summer program in Soundscape Recording and Urban Acoustic Ecology for students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. The course will be taught in midtown Manhattan and will include soundscape recording field-trips and hands-on computer work. In addition to the technical skills taught, students will also be introduced to the notion of urban sound preservation for historical and creative purposes. A good time will be had by all.
