getto piu ampio presentato in "showcase" il 6 di dicembre scorso alla Lib=
reria Annexia di Genova con azioni sonore di Francesco Calandrino, pitture =
di Luca Pagani e condimenti di cheap electronics di Claudio Parodi. Al di l=

Parodi has a long, long list of projects he is or was involved in, with man=
y big names from the world of improvisation. But so far his releases is jus=
t a short list. This may change since he just started his own label, rabbia=
. The first release has a strange title "11'39"+5'00" '00" but the thin=
g lasts only ten minutes. Parodi uses feedback created and manipulated by a=
n old fashioned equalizer, using the various sliders to change the various =
frequencies. He plays this live, I think, in a rather improvised way. Quite=
noisy is the outcome, but it seems to lack head and tail or indeed any com=
positional structure. Rather, it is what it is: a guy switching knobs on an=
equalizer for ten minutes. Fine and good that people switch knobs for ten =
minutes, but why has the outcome be released then, I wonder. With such a na=
me, I wondered if it's just a parody of improvised noise. Sorry.
