I am an artist from Kansas City, MO and i am currently developing work for a show at the Urban Culture Projects Project Space gallery in downtown Kansas City. I am mainly focusing on the piece "Equilibrium", which is a video installation that involves lieing on a bed of water while you peer up at a rear-projected video screen. As the viewer is submerged into weightlessness they will watch a video that displays a waterproof camera floating in a drum of water that will go from the city to the natural landscape. I am currently looking for funding to help complete this project so I formed a profile on kickstarter.com. Here is the link to the project page that describes everything in detail.
