small correction –and this is just from memory– but i believe the
party-goer says:

"Right now it's only a notion, but I think I can *get money* to turn
it into a concept, and then turn it into an idea"

regardless, it's a pithy comedy that relates just as easily to our
recently demised dot.com past as it did to 70s LA.
