I haven't viewed this yet but I would be inclined to guess that it is relevant to Networkism. Religion is a very important example and expression of human aesthetic evolution past, present, and future. Thus to relate religion to networks in my mind creates higher Networkism than pure tech emphases.
I also like Ganesha a lot and consider him a personal pal. There is an excellent 1100 a.d. Ganesha here in Minneapolis at the MIA and I rented a snowboard with Ganesh on it in 1999, which affected Genius 2000. Ganesh is the god of auspicious beginnings and overcoming of obstacles:
I think this is a pretty good video and it reflects the ideas of Networkism in my opinion. It appears to be a folksy song-prayer to Ganesh, a Hindu god, by a person who does not look like a typical Hindu person. So, you have the question "is he really Hindu?" and whether that makes the song a real prayer or not. Does he really believe in Ganesh? These are interesting questions when you consider the history-compressing aspect of Networkism in that we have access to lots of information not of our time.
Another part of website art is to understand an item, you go to the home page. This person's home page has an interesting image of the Sphinx that I like because recently I find religious material very honest and good, and because it is rather new to me due to past lack of study. It's not trying so hard to hustle you as a lot of contemporary topical works can be. I'm not sure what the 9th stands for.
So, all in all, I think this work deals with some of the main and important themes of Networkism. In sum total I wouldn't care to put a judgmental ranking however because I try to avoid that when I can and because I don't know as much as I'd want to know about the artist and the oeuvre as I'd prefer to if offering judgment.
