The New York Digital Salon presents Harmonic Light

The third of four summer visual music exhibitions features work that
operates under the premise that perception of one sense can manifest as
another. These works visually generate an association between sound and
image for their audiences. The similarities between music and visual art
are an essential thread to the creation of these abstract works. This
exhibition is part of the 2006 NYDS Abstract Visual Music project.

The New York Digital Salon
Since 1993, the New York Digital Salon has served as a catalyst for
greater public awareness and appreciation of new media art, and continues
to promote the creative use of technology and innovation in contemporary
art. The NYDS maintains an extensive online archive and resource of
digital art, artists, and essays. The NYDS contributes to cultural growth
through educational and public programs, exhibitions, and screenings, both
nationally and internationally. A project of the Visual Arts Foundation,
