That is beautiful. From a simple premise something
strange & compelling grows.

older than old school (like me)

well, it made a few shows in the late nineties.
circa 1997-1998
if you sit back, pour yourself a glass of wine, let the screen glow, it will take you to new worlds of experience, give it time.
or not…

Oh yeah,
And this one should be sent to the printer (please do this)
http://www.edymond.com/artseen/numberlore.html
and this is just a compromise
http://www.edymond.com/artseen/largenumbers.html
all 1997-1998
we keep getting older, whats that all about?

so my last entry on this subject is :
Do user interface expectations always as override the net artists hope for the passing of new new user interface responses.
In general, the standard user interface has been played to by the net artist. But is this the only way to go?
Can't I as new media artist force the viewer to re-examine their role in the experience. This includes forcing the viewer to interact in new and unexpected ways?
My biggest complaint with www art is the way it uses existing interfaces, shouldn't we be exploring new interface paradigms?
so there ya go,
something simple on a quiet night in May,

I lied,
My last entry is:
does vertical scaling(Mark Tribe, steve Deitz, G.H.) always override horizontal scaling (myself, Brad Brace, Valery Grancher)?
