Urban Screens

I'm in the process of editing a book (forthcoming UCPress) on abstraction in contemporary moving image artworks and looking for a writer/scholar/academic who knows the urban screens world very well: Europe, the Americas and Asia. This writer will preferably be a female academic who is knowledgeable in contemporary video art as well as the media arts and who is interested in how works can either be seen as abstracted or are literally, visually abstract. Any past writing or discussions to this effect would be most appreciated as well.
