We are pleased to introduce Prof Suzette Worden as the newly appointed
Chair/Convener of Computers in Art and Design Education (CADE) Conference.


Suzette Worden is Professor of Design at Curtin University of Technology,
where she is developing collaborative research projects related to Western
Australia's
mining and agricultural resources. Before joining Curtin in 2002 she was
Reader in
Digital Media and Director of Research in the Faculty of Art, Media and
Design,
University of the West of England, Bristol where she lead research for the
National
Creative Technologies Initiative and the Arts and Humanities Research Board
funded
project, 'Digital Arts Curation: Aesthetics, Participation and Diversity'
in the UK.


PerthCADE is produced by BEAP as the key conference of the 2007 Education
Program.


CADE is a major international event for those interested in the exploration
of ideas at
the intersection of pedagogy, arts, design, science, and technology. The
2007 conference
will provide a focus for shared learning, dialogue and interaction that
directly informs
professional methodologies and practice.
