You have got to be kidding...

This was just too funny… next year the "Net.Art Neurotic" cruise. Maybe this
could be a way to pay for net.art. :) John, Mark, Liza, Max, etc are you up for
it? :)))))) I could do a little tap dancing to entertain…can anybody sing?

Linux Lunacy" Preps for Linus at Sea

Ever wish you could get alone (and far away) with Linus Torvalds to discuss
your latest brainstorm for adding more punch to Linux?

Well, pinch yourself. Geek Cruises has lined up Torvalds to participate on its
upcoming "Linux Lunacy" high-tech tutorial cruise this fall (October 20-27).
Other top appdev minds from Open Source – Linux, Perl, security and Embedded
Systems are "on board" for the event.

Torvalds will engage in what is billed as a "1 hour Q&A" with attendees to
share his latest insights, but cruise organizers expect opportunities for some
informal shipboard chats with the Linux creator. "Linus will be aboard for the
whole cruise and will be around to meet and chat with people," said Capt. Neil
Bauman, cruise and conference producer for Linux Lunacy. "But we want to make
sure attendees know that he'll have his family with him. He's on vacation too."

Shipmates shouldn't feel slighted, though. Other Open Source stars are on-
board.
