HI Geert
for some reason it takes a little while for the thing
to load completely even after it has apparently fully
done so - I noticed this yesterday , just before I
unleashed it on the world & I was slightly worried
people might get impatient & move on. If you wait 15
or twenty seconds you should see a clickable triangle
appear at the left hand side. If you *are* waiting
that long & this isn't happening please mail me off
list - the other cause might be that despite the
nominally cross platform nature of shockwave movies it
ain't always so - a few of my things, especially where
I've used Lingo to synchronise sound, just don't seem
to work at all on Macs..

Yes, 't was my impatience. And then I had to restart the movie to get
sound (which is quite essential for the piece ihmo)

Made me wonder how long it would take before techniques enabling the
randomization of sound would hit mainstream. An example – I listen
to trance & dance stations in the car – it would be perfectly
feasible to split a song (especially dance) into blocks, and
"perform" these "live" on air – even record multiple versions of
these blocks so every airing would be a unique "live" experience.
People could go: "Yesterday I heard such-and-such a version of song
xxxx, wow was that good…"

Obviously, stuff like that has been made for years within the art
community, and is being done by djs/vjs all over the world right now.
Radio just isn't up to it yet, I suppose. Or is it?
