[rhizome] search for Australian Video Artists

Call for Australian Video Artists

Deadline: May 1st, 2005.

Melbounre based Shaun Wilson
(www.acadarts.utas.edu.au/wilsonsp) is working on an
up-coming project titled 'Australian Video Art after
2000'.

The outcomes will present 100 unknown, emerging and
established artists who use video as their primary
medium - compiled and discussed in a scholarly book
(publisher yet to be decided) to be written throughout
2005.

If you would like to submit your work for
consideration, please send the following:

- One page CV (word doc, PDF or RTF)
- Artist statement about what you do
- URL and email address

Title of email: [Australian Video Art Submission]

DO NOT EMAIL IMAGES OR VIDEO FILES

Selected artists will use be notified in due course
and then asked to submit a DVD or VHS showreel.

At this stage, there are no artist fee's but future
arrangements with the publisher will be negotiated at
the going rate as set by VISCOPY.
