the waves, the waves

A very recently finished work that seems to sadly fit with recent waves.

Is it? Anyone thoughts?

jason hi

i got the opposite of a drowning effect, a hopeful survival, even in death
of drowning i felt hope the never ending bubbles of air breathing life back
in, sorta like being in a float tank.

not even was there a feeling of drowning in too much information or
emotion, the seemingly infinite number of screens of sounds and images and
texts and popups and rollovers and draggable objects and animated texts. it
is, as usual for you, a huge work.

one thing for sure you can't skim read this piece like you can a poem on
the page, you have to engage to get anything out of it. i think i got to
see and experience nearly all of it, although hymns/hymn6.html never loaded
no matter how long i waited. about ten minutes into the piece, and after
coming to the same scenes/screens i said wait a minute there's got to be
some logic to this and figured out the vertical and horizontal navbars. but
even then when i went to the initial index page, the boxes, i found hymns i
hadn't found before.

cheers
komninos

It's interesting. How it relates to world events, well I am stumped.
It's sort anti-news, which is an interesting idea. News is clear and
concise and givws you a clear perspective from some POV. But one could
have something that encouraged one to explore. To tie it to world events
of late, one would have to make the Flash Movies refer to it…or so
think I. Others will think and feel differently.

Have Fun,
Sends Steve
