Re[5]: RHIZOME_RAW: finding net.art in the rhizome artbase

Hello again!

There is no indicator like stock market or sales ratio for updating
the top 5 list in the entire database.
It would rather make sence to vote netartnews. Thus every certain
period of time, to be precise once a month a top 5 list could be created.

Hi Roman-

The TOP FIVE idea was never meant to be a fluid index of the entire Artbase.
My original thought was that the RAW and RARE community would review all of
the werks entered into the artbase during its first three month and submit
their favorites from that time period. After the TOP FIVE from that period
were chosen we would do it again from month four to month six, month seven
to month nine … and so on.

My thought was that it would be nice to revisit all the old werks and pick
out our favorites. These would serve as examples (from their "era") and
give a little direction to new rhizomers.

Best,

dg
