Write In Candidate

Posted by Eric Dymond | Sat Oct 30th 2004 10:48 p.m.

OK well if you still haven't decided who to vote for on Novemebr 2nd I am asking you to write me in as your candidate for president.
I know, I am not a US citizen, I am fairly ignorant of both foreign and domestic policy.
I have no idea regarding health care funding or running a large organization.
But I would really like to appear in the election results.
Sure I am OK on arts funding, in fact I will use most of the US budget to buy and promote the arts in all fields.
I think that gives me an edge on the other candidates considering the current demographic.
So on November 2nd, use the write in feature on the ballot and elect me, Eric Dymond, president of the United States.
Thanks for your support,
Eric

Back again, same agenda, same message.
  • Erika Lincoln | Fri Sep 5th 2008 1:21 p.m.
Eric, I would like to announce my availability as a running mate.
I have not shot any moose, but I have killed one dear with a car and I have run over many a prairie dog. I own a pick up but not a snowmobile. I am not a beauty queen but I did have the best snatch in 56kg weight class western canada for three years running. (my clean and jerk was weak). My public office record is as follows, Secretary:Ace ARt, Vice-President:VideoPool, Board Member:TooManyTimes.
Running a country is similar to running artist run centres, both require strong cat herding skills.
I have no children, but I do have dust elks living in my house. I do practice vaccum abstinence, but the elks seem to be multiplying on their own accord ( I divest any responsibility on this matter and leave it up to Odin)

Well alright then, we have the vision and combination of skills required to succeed in this election.
    It's now official,
    Presidential candidate Eric Dymond
    and
    Vice Presidential candidate
    Erika Lincoln.
Two Canadians who just don't no anything about American politics.
Erika brings actual administrative and organizational skills. These skills, honed in the Alt Arts scene of the Red River province will ensure that most of your tax dollar as will be spent on the Arts,
Now any endoresement, march through the street or conventions (funded) would really round off our campaign.
    We need your support.
Blog about us, post to a forum, text your friends, get the message out.
    Eric(c|ka) for President.
