MFA program in Art and Social Practice

The Department of Art at Sam Houston University is inviting applications for a new MFA program in Art and Social Practice.

The MFA in Art and Social Practice is a three-year, 60-credit-hour program for students to develop studio practices that are interdisciplinary, collaborative, and engaged with community.

This interdisciplinary MFA program is open to students in Graphic Design, Animation, Digital Media, and 2D, 3D, and time-based Studio Art . Students will embrace collaborative and interdisciplinary projects that invite community participation and involve local organizations.
