The Especially Flat File @ Unrequited Leisure

Introducing the "Especially Flat File" program at Unrequited Leisure, a media arts space in Nashville, TN.

For this program, we are building a virtual archive (similar to a flatfile) of interested video and single-channel media artists from around the world. The archive will provide a resource for our guest curators selecting artists for exhibitions throughout the 2020 season.

While the gallery tends toward critical practices and experimental approaches to media, this is an open call for all work that may be appropriate for a single channel viewing environment. We will consider interactive installations and code-based work where artists can facilitate materials or installation assistance. Otherwise, we're expecting video works shorter than 10 minutes, made available to curatorial staff through links (and passwords).
