Call For Art Donations for Sweet ‘Art’s ‘Have a H’Art’ Fundraiser

Sweet ‘Art is a non-profit organization operating from a feminist perspective, which is dedicated to the promotion of visual artists through the delivery of regular curated exhibitions and events.

Our ambition is to create a truly inclusive and accessible space for contemporary art for both artists and the community. We need your help for us achieve that ambition!

From the 21-31 June 2019 Sweet ‘Art will be hosting our first fundraiser Have a H’Art, offering donated works of art for sale to the general public. All funds raised will cover exhibition costs, and will also contribute to Sweet ‘Art’s goal of obtaining a permanent dedicated gallery space in North London. The fundraiser will launch our Patreon online fundraising campaign and the exhibition will include the campaign launch and private view.

We will be seeking works in any medium including painting, photography, print and sculpture (although the size of the gallery will limit work size to under 1 m square, and our focus will be on smaller 2D work) and in honour of our organizational ethos we would particularly welcome works that explore the themes of intersectional feminism in a wider context.

Have a H’Art will be held in the beautiful Stash Gallery, part of Vout-O-Reenees arts members club, located in London’s Aldgate near to Tower Bridge. The show will be installed by experienced curators, and invitations, press releases and promotion will be included. The opening reception will be hosted in the most decadent of surroundings and organized to the highest spec. along with the usual Sweet ‘Art freebies and surprises!

Please be aware that as this is a fundraiser for Sweet ‘Art, all artwork selected for exhibition will be donated to the organization and 100% of all artwork sales will be in aid of Sweet ‘Art. You can read more about our selection process and mission and values on our website.

Works will need to be available between the 17 June and 1 July 2019.
