Both of these positions lead and oversee all aspects of their respective programs at Anderson Ranch. These programs include a year-round cycle of adult workshops and artists’ residencies. It is expected that the directors will be a practicing artists or researchers who have an in-depth knowledge of contemporary fine arts in their field. As part of a team of artistic program directors representing the major art disciplines offered by the Ranch, the Program Director collaborates as a team member on envisioning and implementing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

The Anderson Ranch Arts Center, located 10 miles outside of Aspen, Colorado, is an artists’ community offering workshops and residencies across a wide variety of disciplines. Each summer, beginners to advanced artists from around the world participate in one and two week workshops instructed by artists accomplished in their field. The Ranch also hosts a residency program which provides artists with the time, space and support to concentrate on the advancement of their work.
