Gossamer Fog Residency & Exhibition

Gossamer Fog is offering the opportunity for one artist to take up a 1 month studio residency in one of the gallery's two spaces. There will then be an end-of-residency solo exhibition, showcasing completed works developed over the residency period which will fill both main rooms of the gallery, the show will run for a further month.

The gallery is seeking proposals for this residency and solo exhibition and is completely open to include any mediums and concepts. Previous work that you have created can be included in the show if related to your proposal, however new work must be created on the residency and displayed within the exhibition. The gallery can provide a selection of hand and power tools for the duration of the residency along with a large variety of electrical and other equipment.

Please note that this is a studio residency only and no accommodation is provided, although the gallery can provide support in finding some if the artist needs. Applicants must be able reside in, or to travel to London for the residency duration and to use the studio on a regular basis. Return of work is the sole responsibility of the artist after the exhibition has finished. The gallery may be able to offer a financial contribution towards this cost, but as we do not know the size and weight of all works to be installed for the show, we cannot offer a guarantee that we would be able to pay for its return after the exhibition.

Combine all the following requirements into one PDF (must not exceed 10mb):

- 1 page proposal
- 1 page of supporting images for proposal (optional)
- 1 page CV
- Upto 8 portfolio images
