Call for Artists: Portrait: Open to Portrait Photography, Painting, and Video Art

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in “Portrait,” the International Exhibition on Portrait. We accept photographs, prints, paintings, and video works.

*Framing of Prints and Photographs:
Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. Please let us know if you have photographs larger than 10×15 inches.

*Electronic Devices:
We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please contact us at “[email protected].” Additional fees may apply.

*Installation & Shipping:
Our curators & assistants will install your work(s) according to your installation guidelines. The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of their work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.

*Deadline: November 28, 2016

*Exhibition Dates: January 27 – February 12, 2017

***The dates are subject to change.

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video, up to 5 JPG images, and your bio. Please email them to “[email protected].”
– Please write “Submission: Portrait – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.

If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $50 (USD) per work.
