SCHOOL OF MEDIA ARTS
The College of Fine Arts (COFA) provides Art, Design, Media, Art History
and Art Education programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It
also undertakes extensive studio, theoretical and historical research into
each of these fields.
COFA seeks to appoint a media artist/practitioner into each of the
following areas: Video Production and Interactive Media.
Video Production typically includes work in the following areas:
conventional and experimental video production; art video and performance;
cinematic practices which include short film and documentary formats.
Interactive Media typically includes work in the following areas:
interactive media and web practices, games, mobile applications, DVD
authoring and production, interactive installation practice.
The Associate Professor appointee will be considered for the leadership
role of Head of School, Media Arts. Broad experience across media arts
practices is therefore desirable. Undertaking the Head of School role
attracts additional remuneration.
These are full time continuing positions. The salary range for Lecturer
is A$68,320 - A$80,541 per year; Associate Professor is A$99,276 -
A$109,049 per year depending on qualifications and experience.
