la superette this weekend

Hello,

this is the second shopping weekend of La Superette, curated by Tali
Hinkis and Kyle Lapidus,
who have invited me to be an iPod DJ along with Bethany Ryker of
wfmu's stochastic hit parade and Daniel Perlin tomorrow from 12 - 7pm.

La Superette is a fantastic event and a great opportunity to pick up
some affordable art work by wonderful artists…come on down.

(see lasuperette.org for full information):

Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9 from 12 NOON until 7pm each day.
this year all La Superette events are being held at 112 W. 44th St. a
block from Times Square in Manhattan.

though a few things sold out, many great items are still available so come
shop for things you and your loved ones will adore!

also a few sets of Viewmaster glasses for the Dec. 13-16 performance
series featuring Loud
Objects, Benton Bainbridge/Matty Ostrowski, MV Carbon/Tony Conrad,
Nautical Almanac, The And Group, Luke Dubois, James Rouvelle/John
Roach, Dan Iglesia, and Gerald Marks (details at:
http://lasuperette.org/schedule.php ) are still available, and may be the
only way to get into the shows on those nights depending on space
constraints, so if you're interested, you should come pick some up this
weekend.

What is La Superette?

La Superette is an annual event, an art sale held around the holiday
season in December.
We organize a temporary store where artists sell functional art in
multiples at affordable prices.
In addition to the sale there are performances and video screenings
that run throughout the day.

Bon Anniversaire!
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of La Superette,
we are expanding the event into a festival taking place
over the first few weeks of December.
